AIM
Create a database of all documentary filmmakers,
commercial filmmakers, and film distributors in Delhi.
Interview one person in each category.
Create a common forum for all people involved in the film industry in Delhi to interact with each other.
Put up no greater than one page resumes of all upcoming people in film, so that they are visible to major filmmakers and get ample opportunity to prove their talents.
Come up with a guide to all film festivals, and current events being held in the city dealing with film.
Spread awareness about the impact of film piracy on the film industry.
HOW I PLAN TO ACHIEVE THIS
Spread awareness about the website and its aim by putting up information in major entertainment centres in Delhi, like the Habitat Centre.
Start a 'No Piracy' campaign by designing a poster to be put up in various places that gets our message across in an effective manner.
Upload program guides to major entertainment centres in Delhi onto the website. By doing this I plan to increase our visibility to the public.
Through the completion of this project, I plan to make it easier for people aspiring to enter the film industry to easily access any information they require. The website will also provide information on various programs being held in Delhi, dealing with film.
