Background - Mathachin is a very old traditional art from Rajasthan, about 10 hundred years old. It is a type of artistic designs of glass pieces done on the walls and ceiling.
About Bailey Bhatt - She is one of the famous Mathachin in Shadipur Depot. She has spent her whole life in learning and performing this art. She learnt this art from her father when she was 16 years old. Since then she has performed in many Mathachin programs and shows in India and abroad.
Other art Forms - Such as Rajasthani Mehindi.
Mehendi (or Henna). Since ancient time Henna is used for dyeing hair, finger nails, palms of hands and soles of feet into various shades. Mehendi has a lot of importance in Indian Ceremonies like Marriage and Festivals. Women apply Mehendi in various designs to beautify their hands and feet. In the course of time mehendi has become very popular in other places in the World.

Teaching Skills -Bailey Bhatt has been teaching Mathachin and Mehindi to various schools students in Delhi. Classes offered on site at schools in Delhi.
Performances -(98) Sahara hotel, (99) Rishikesh, (2000) Malviya nagar. Also abroad in Dubai festival (2001) and in Holland Festival (2002).
