About the artist - Babulal Bhatt is 42 years old, he belongs to the Jhujum community (originally from Shital village in Rajasthan). He came in Delhi in 1970. Now he lives in Katputli colony with 6 others members of his household. His father taught him this art when he was 8 years old. He is performing since 1975, when he was 12 years old.

Other art Forms - Kathputli dance, Bhopa bhopi, Ghumar, Dhamal and Magic Shows.

Performance - He has performed in India in many different places (Ashoka hotel, Pragati Maidan…) and also abroad in Dubai, US (Washington, 2002) and in New Zealand every where. He and his family members are very pleased. Their performances with the puppets have been extremely successful and typical. They are recommended by members of the parliament, the national sports club of India, The Ashoka hotel and many other ones like the Asia foundation of New Zealand.
