Bhumikeshwar also learnt the art of Mask-Making in the Seraikella form under the tutelage of Shri Dhiro lal Bhol and Mime under the guidance of Shri Niranjan Goswami at the Indian Mime Theatre, Kolkata. He is the founder member and Director of the Delhi based Classical Indian Theatre group Prathibha Sanskritik Sansthan.
Bhumikeshwar was awarded scholarship by Sahitya Kala Parishad (91-93) to undertake specialist training in Chhau dance and was awarded fellowship by the Department of Culture, Govt. of India from 1996-98. He has had the privilege to work with eminent theatre personalities like Hemant Mishra, Vigeesh Kumar Singh, K.S.Rajendran, Sheila Bhatia, Satyabrat Raut and Mohan Maharshi. Amongst the many Sanskrit plays that he has directed are: Dootvakyam, Karnabharam, Urubhangam, Venisamharam, Balcharitam, Mahavir Charitam, Pancharatram, Charudattam, Bhagvadajjukam, Meghdoota,, Dootghatotkacham Mattavilas, MadhyamVyayog ,Kurukshetra, Naagmandala and Pratigyayogandhrayan.
Alongside this he has been conducting regular workshops on Chhau movments, Drama and Mime throughout the country with different art institutions and different Universities of India .He also has to his credit the choreography of dance pieces with school children in Delhi for Republic day celebrations from 1997-2004. He conducted a month long Chhau Dance workshop at Yekaterinburg, Russia that culminated in the dance-piece ‘Meghdoot’ in 2009 and also gave Chhau performances at Anand Yog Center, Tumin and Puppet Theatre, Yekaterinburg, Russia. Presently Bhumikeshwar trains students in Drama, Chhau, and Mime in Delhi.

Pratibha Sanskritik Sansthan was established in 1987, with Bhumikeshwar Singh as the Founder/Director/Chairperson. It is a non-profitable organisation working in various fields of performing arts. PSS conducts various training programs in Chhau Dance, Odissi Dance, Drama & Mime. It has participated in Mime Festival organised by W Z C Centre which was held in Udaipur, Jodhpur & Jaipur in 2006. It has Directed plays in Mime, like Koch-Devyani, Atrocities of women, girls & children in 1994, which were shown in the slum areas of Delhi.The main objective of PSS is to experiment in Sanskrit plays in Chhau style by using all classical theatre techniques.
